Brighton-based psychedelic garage-rock fiends Strange Cages have just shared a brilliant new cover of a post-punk classic. 'The Cutter' by Echo & The Bunnymen has been given a scuzzy twist by the rowdy three-piece who recorded their interpretation of the track in a bedroom with the help of Cecil Cuthbert. Released to tie in with Strange Cages' last hometown show of the year this Friday at Sticky Mike's Frog Bar, we're holding out hope that this brilliant cover will be making its way on to the set list.
